A Lazy Independence Day

The 4th of July holiday was a quiet one for me, both in RL and SL. My RL family mostly sat around, binge-watched TV shows on Netflix and Paramount, and ate tacos (not quite the “All-American” food, but still delicious!). Unfortunately, there was no city-sponsored fireworks show this year, but the locals spent the day setting off enough firecrackers/fireworks that we didn’t miss it. My dogs, on the other hand, were not as appreciative of the noises!

In SL, Gavin and I spent a lazy day relaxing in the pool. I’m lounging on the newest pool floatie by What Next and my festive martini is courtesy of ChicChica, who always provides the cutest holiday gifts. My sweet pup Finlay found her way into the snacks while we weren’t paying attention… I’m not sure how many of those patriotic ice pops she licked, but I think we might as well let her finish them off now!
