About the Images
Today’s home and garden post is a quick one, featuring a couple of fun pieces that will add character and a little chaos to your space.
First up is the Jimbo’s Hotdog sign by Bad Unicorn. The oversized hot dog on top slowly spins, making it an eye-catching addition to any in-world restaurant, diner, or roadside stand. It’s the kind of sign that’s sure to attract hungry residents wandering by. You can pick it up at the Bad Unicorn mainstore.
Also featured is the delightfully unhinged flock of seagulls by Aardvark. Don’t Feed the Seagulls is an older release from one of last year’s rounds of The Arcade, but these sassy birds still steal the show. Whether you place them on a beach, boardwalk, or rooftop, they bring instant personality and just a hint of mayhem. You’ll find them at the Aardvark mainstore.

The Story
The gulls arrived like gossip: loud, fast, and absolutely certain they were right to be there.
They descended on the flat roof of Jimbo’s in a flurry of wings and complaints, drawn by the unmistakable perfume of human carelessness: crushed fry cartons, tipped-over cups, a grease-stained pizza box, and—best of all—an abandoned chili dog slumped in its paper cradle. Someone had clearly lost a battle with hunger halfway through lunch, and the gulls intended to finish it.
Bills snapped. Feet hopped. One gull dragged the chili dog backward, screeching triumph, while another lunged in from the side. The bun tore with a wet rip, and the sausage slid free, slick with chili, skidding across the concrete until it bumped gently against a stack of cardboard boxes near the brick wall.
None of them noticed the box.
It was an ordinary box—creased, slightly damp, printed with faded shipping labels—but behind it crouched a black-and-white tuxedo cat with polished whiskers and a tail curled in tight, patient loops. His eyes were wide and bright, tracking every hop, every dropped crumb. He had been there long enough to learn their rhythms: the bold ones first, the nervous ones circling, the inevitable squabbles that left snacks unattended.
The cat waited.
One gull had a crumpled can stuck over its head, clanking softly as it waddled forward, blind but confident. It marched straight into the brick wall, rebounded, and shouted its outrage at the sky.
Nearby, another gull had wedged himself halfway into a styrofoam takeout box, flapping furiously while the box spun around him like an unwanted costume. He shrieked for help, feathers sticking out at odd angles.
The gulls grew louder. Wings flapped. A cup rolled away. Someone dropped a fry and forgot it existed.
The cat sprang.
The rooftop erupted.
Gulls shrieked and burst into the air, feathers puffed and wings colliding as they fled in every direction. The gull with the can finally freed his head mid-panic and launched himself the wrong way. The styrofoam-box gull lifted briefly into the air, box still attached, before crashing down and wriggling free in humiliation.
When the chaos cleared, the roof was suddenly, blissfully quiet.
The cat padded calmly to the fallen prize: the thick, chili-slick sausage, still warm from the sun. He sat beside it like a king claiming a throne, tail wrapped neatly around his paws, and took a slow, deliberate bite.
The gulls regrouped on a billboard across the street, glaring down at the cat. They shouted warnings and made plans that involved bravery they did not have.
The cat glanced up once, as if to acknowledge that he had heard them all along, then returned his attention to his meal.
When he finished, he cleaned his whiskers, slipped back behind the box, and vanished.
Above him, the gulls argued.
The rooftop of Jimbo’s fell silent again.
For now.
