About the Images
Featured in today’s post are a few standout pieces from Bad Unicorn’s Wanted Not Wasted gacha set, originally available at the July/August 2025 round of The Arcade. Serena is deep in her dream heist, armed with the black bunny mask and an oversized baseball bat, with a duffel bag overflowing with cash at her side. If you’re plotting your own daring escapade, or just want to look the part, you can still pick up your heist essentials at the Bad Unicorn mainstore.
Also making a bold appearance is the dramatic backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis. The Bunker sets the perfect stage for any criminal mastermind (or perhaps an FBI agent hot on their trail). Dark, moody, and cinematic, it’s the ultimate hideout. You can find it now at the Synnergy.Tavis store.

The Story
The date had been Gavin’s idea. Dinner, then a movie, something with enough adrenaline to keep them both on the edge of their seats. Serena picked the heist film, all shadows and neon, master criminals slipping past security with impossible precision. Gavin couldn’t resist critiquing every move. “Terrible escape plan,” he muttered halfway through. “We’d never make that mistake.”
Serena just smirked. We. By the time the credits rolled, she was half-convinced they could have pulled it off themselves.
Later that night, curled into bed with Gavin’s steady breathing beside her, the movie still played through her head. Somewhere between waking and sleep, the screen dissolved, and she found herself in the middle of the story.
The tent smelled faintly of oil and damp canvas. Fluorescent lights buzzed overhead. A giant map glowed on the back wall, the word LASTLINE pulsing like a warning. Serena stood in combat boots and tights, plaid shorts beneath a loose sweater, her face hidden by a black bunny mask. A duffel bag sagged at her side, its zipper straining against stacks of stolen cash.
She let the bag drop onto the floor with a heavy thud. Bills spilled out in a glorious heap. Serena ripped off her mask, her hair tumbling loose, and grinned. “Done. The vault is empty. We’re rich.”
Across the table, Gavin didn’t even look at the money. He was bent over a table covered in paperwork, a cigarette in one hand, his glasses catching the glow of the monitors before him. “Impressive,” he said without looking up. “Now, fill these out.”
Serena blinked. “What?”
“Post-heist reports,” he replied dryly, sliding a thick packet toward her. “Inventory logs. Incident forms. Debrief questionnaires. Standard procedure.”
Serena’s jaw dropped. “You’ve got to be kidding me. I broke locks, dodged guards, nearly dislocated my shoulder swinging that bat, and you want me to fill out forms?”
“Yes,” Gavin said, tapping the page where her signature should go. “Otherwise, how do we know what went wrong? How do we improve for next time?”
Serena groaned and dropped into a chair, shoving the duffel aside. “Next time? I’m retiring after this.”
But Gavin only adjusted his pen and pointed again, impatient. “Sign here. And here. Would you like me to get the retirement forms?”
With a dramatic sigh, Serena snatched the pen. “You are the worst crime partner ever.”
“On the contrary,” Gavin said with a smirk, sliding the completed forms into a binder. “I’m the reason we’ll never get caught.”
Serena slumped back, crossing her arms, glaring at him. “Next time, you do the heist. I’ll sit here and play secretary.”
But she knew the truth. If there was a next time, she’d still be the one in the mask, bat in hand, heart pounding with the thrill. And Gavin would be waiting with his paperwork.
The flickering bunker lights dissolved into morning sunshine. Serena blinked awake to find herself back in her own bed, Gavin snoring softly beside her. She lay still for a moment, laughing quietly to herself.
A dream. A ridiculous dream.
Rolling onto her side, she pressed a kiss to Gavin’s cheek. “You wouldn’t believe what we did last night,” she whispered.
And maybe, just maybe, she’d keep the paperwork part to herself.
